Good Questions
How does it feel?
Safari kind feels plush and smooth from the first sheet. Our 3-ply bamboo is soft against skin but strong where it counts, thanks to bamboo's naturally high tensile strength. It's also free of the dust and lint you get with tree-based papers. And with 350 sheets per roll, you most people find that it lasts noticeably longer than their old brands.
Are there any chemicals in Safari Kind?
None.
No PFAS. No BPA. No Bleach.
Instead, we chose to whiten our TP with gentler products like ECF or Chlorine Dioxide for a soft and strong bamboo paper. Safe for sensitive skin, safe for kids, safe for pets. The way toilet paper should have been all along.
Is it septic safe?
Yes. Safari Kind is septic-safe and biodegradable. It actually breaks down faster than recycled paper.
Whether you're on city plumbing, a septic tank, and RV setup, or older pipes, our bamboo toilet paper handles it like standard TP.
If you're ever concerned about your specific situation, just reply to one of our email. We're happy to talk it through.
Is bamboo really better than recycled or virgin paper?
In every way that matters, yes.
Bamboo grows up to three feet a day and regenerates from it's own root system. No replanting, no clear-cutting, mp decades-long wait for trees to grow back. Traditional toilet paper uses trees that took 30+ years to grow, gone in seconds. Recycled toilet paper still requires energy-intensive processing and chlorine bleaching.
Our bamboo is sourced from FSC-certified farms where it grows naturally and abundantly. The result: softer, stronger, paper that doesn't destroy a forest to make.
